It is found in shady, clean and shallow streams. This fish is about 18 to 10 inches long when grown. They are found in the wet zone and the central highlands as well as in the dry zone. Eats small insects such as worms. When scared, the color changes body color. Used for trade. Gurami is a species endemic to Sri lanka.😋😁😀💗
