Do you need a balanced diet to boost your immune system?

Viral infections occur most quickly when a person's immune system is weakened. Therefore, it is important to have a balanced diet to boost our immunity. Scientists have long recognized that people living in poverty and malnourished are at higher risk for many diseases.

Eat foods rich in vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber, protein and antioxidants that are needed to strengthen white blood cells and increase cell count. It is important to drink enough water. Consumption of sugar, fat and salt should also be reduced to significantly reduce the risk of obesity, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and some cancers. Breast milk is the main food that boosts the immune system of babies.

Colostrum triglyceride, which is secreted from the mother's nipples as soon as the baby is born, is needed to maintain the baby's future nutritional status and health. Cholesterol is high in protein and contains white blood cell antibodies that are needed to protect the baby from disease.

What is the immune system?

Our body is constantly exposed to micro-organisms such as bacteria and viruses. Our body has the ability to prevent such a substance from entering the body and to destroy it if it has grown. Germs can enter the body and cause disease. In such a case, the white blood cells have the ability to swallow the germs. Or they produce antibodies to destroy those germs.

In this way the immune system helps to protect our body.Immunizations also provide immunity to the body. This vaccination is called immunization.
